Dessert Anyone?

I forgot to put a pic of that delicious dessert we had. It was so pretty. I had to put it on the blog.

I can not photograph as well as my friend Audra. Here are the pics.

Beauty in a jar

I mentioned that I was at my friends house helping her eat I mean can her peaches. Well I have pictures of them along with that delicious dessert we ate.
I have never canned before or watched how it was done it was really interesting. I thought about how it is liked when we come to Christ

Peaches were boiled to remove the skins.
*It is like a washing, removing of ourselves from old to new with Christ.
Then the peaches are put into a warm mixture of sweetness.
*As we are sweetned with the Love of God and warmed with His comfort.
Next the jars are boiled and taken out and filled with peaches.
*The sins which satan keeps making sure we don't forget are now taken out and forgiven with the prayer of repetance we now can fill ourselves with the truths of Christ.
The next step would be to put them back in the water to boil out all germs and seal them up without any air bubbles.
*As Christ washes away satan when he attacks, we have the Word of God to seal satans lips as God speaks truth in our daily readings.
Last step is the peaches are now taken out to cool and wiped clean.
*God is always there to cool our minds when trouble times are ahead, He is there to wipe us and take care of us, to make sure when we are looked at we are beautiful in His eyes.

Quiet Thursday

Today I don't have to run around. Praise God! Zachary is going on a playdate with his friends. I am taking my other kid to find some long shorts, its tough being a tall kid.
Yesterday, we helped my dear friend paint her living room. Although, we only did the ceiling, we put some of the colors on the wall to see what it would look like. I think I will look very beautiful, my bff thinks it looks a little shocking, but she will understand when it all comes together. I will put a pic on my blog, forgot my camera to take that pic.
God gave us the most beautiful colors so why not display His brilliant work all over your house.
I have to go to the store now. Till next time.

Friday!

It is 9:15 am and I should be cleaning my house, but thought I would blog before I started the task of laundry. I woke up to a happy husband who is glad it is Friday, although he might have to work on the weekend. Yesterday I went over to my friends house to watched her can or jar peaches. It was a very delicious day. I stirred and ate, canned and ate, cleaned up and ate. So it was real good. Oh, and after that we had a cheesecake dessert. So the day was wonderful. She had pickles made and ready to store away. I think the colors of the pickles and peaches are so beautiful, I will get pictures up.
Anyway, not much going on. I have to get back to my household duties.
God is good, all the time!

All quite in the Animal Kingdom

It is peaceful today in our home today, but that will change when hubby comes home. What can I say I have my own Krusty the clown or zoo animal whichever he feels like being today.
I can not say much today because I am going over to my best friends house. We have so much fun together, we will be painting her living room. We have chosen some warm colors to match her rug. The last time we painted we had so much fun and laughed so hard, oh wait, that was the fumes of the paint. Anyway, we had such a good time.
Okay, well I have to go now.
